BIOGEST was a research project
funded by the European Union in the framework of ENVIRONMENT & CLIMATE programme
and ELOISE (European Land Ocean Interactions Studies, contract n°ENV4-CT96-0213,
1996-1999) projects network. The aim of BIOGEST was to understand the distribution
of biogases in surface water of European estuaries and to quantify related atmospheric
